Pond & Water Feature Maintenance
It is disappointing to see that so many pond maintenance firms fall down on keeping the ponds or water features in great condition; so many ponds have poor fish colouration from either malnutrition or poor water clarity because the companies don't look after the system correctly. We strongly believe this is because of the lack of skills and knowledge that pond maintenance personnel possess which consequently results in dead or dying livestock, poor visibility and algae problems
Ponds & water features should be crystal clear, vibrant with colour and movement and really bring a garden to life. This is why once we have installed your pond; we can provide a maintenance facility to keep your pond in top condition. We offer the following service and maintenance facility which includes:
- Pond Cleaning - Draining the pond and transferring livestock to a secured, aerated holding unit for the duration of the work, liner and nearby rocks/ paving or waterfalls will be jet washed and all sediment and silt will be removed. Aquatic plants will be removed and if necessary repotted.
- Cleaning of all mechanical and biological media and replacing UV bulbs.
- Monitoring the water quality parameters and checking the health of all livestock.
- Any existing equipment will be cleaned and serviced.
